Dedicated to accurately portraying the American Soldier of 1941-1945 Welcome to the Screaming Eagles World War II American soldier living history group. Our team recreates the look and feel of American soldiers between 1941 and 1945. We portray ourselves on the 101st Airborne Division of the period, known as the "Screaming Eagles". The group has grown from small beginnings into a large team of friends with many vehicles, weapons, uniforms and equipment. |

| As a group we focus on
506th PIR Easy Company from the 101st Airborne Division. Our aim is to
provide an authentic reproduction of how a unit of the
101st Airborne would have looked from 1943 to 1945.
We have a variation of uniforms in addition to the
standard battle uniform that we can display, including MP
uniforms and dress uniforms.
The group is based in the South of England, but we have and we do welcome members from around the country and from overseas. The group meets on a regular basis and we also have regular training days. Our group is administered by a committee of five members, but EVERYONE has a say at running the group. Our MP re-enactment provides authentic security look for an event and we can portray troops in standard MP uniforms or provide MPīs in dress uniform. At an event we can set up a camp that will portray a small GI unit based at a staging area ready to be mobilised up to the lines. |

| New members
will join as a private and will be assigned to
squad within the 506th PIR. You will be able to earn rank depending on the length of your
membership, participation in events and carrying out extra support above
the norm. Authenticity is a must, we do not want to see
anything out of place such as coke cans, cling film and plastic carrier
bags etc at our displays. As a group we do not carry this
authenticity to the extreme. When the display is not active
the use of modern equipment is not a problem.

sociable people and to help the public remember what
young men and women went through during WWII come and
join the Screaming Eagles Living History Group. |
