Equipment and Clothing

The following pages breaks down all the individual items a US Paratrooper used throughout the European Theatre of the Second World War. The basic Clothing and hardware were standard US Infantry issue but there are exceptions where there are Airborne specfic items of kit that were developed through the lessons learnt in Africa, Sicily (82nd Airborne) and Italy (82nd Airborne). These are the T5 Parachute, Jump Boots, M1942 Jump Jacket and Trousers, First Aid Pouch and other containers.
