Second Squad had a very successful Training Day on Sunday with nearly the whole squad participating, weather was great apart from the hail stones and the day was spent going through numerous training lessons and assigning the members into specific roles which they will learn and portray at events. Thanks to the SL and ASL for organising the day, another one is going to be arranged shortly as it went down really well.

A big thanks to all the members who attended the big tidy up at the Group Lockup, a great job was done by all to sort all the Group kit out, it was greatly needed, we emptied the garage and took stock of we had and then got rid of any old unused kit and rubbish and then all the kit was put back in a tidy and organised manner. It is now looking good with all the kit stacked up around the sides with each item having its own place, so from now on we should be able to find and then put back all the kit we need for the events.

As by now most members should know the Littlecote At War weekend event in April has been cancelled for us (and other LHG's), at least for this year, very sad news indeed.

This coming sunday 4th March is the re-scheduled Explosion Museum tidy up in the ramparts, a good turnout would be expected by group members, we are doing this in return for using the site as a training area and possible Airsoft site in the future.

Welcome to our website, our aim here is to show what we as a Living History Group are doing to preserve the memory, deeds and sacrifices of all the young service men who served with the 101st   US Airborne Division, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion, Easy Company during   the Second World War.

Our Band Of Brothers are representing the original Band Of Brothers in the hope that we can show and educate the public through Living History Displays how these men both trained and lived during the time period of the 1940's in the events leading upto and during the Normandy landings in June 1944 and beyond to the final outcome of the War in May 1945.

We are a friendly bunch of guys who are keen to pass on our knowledge to anyone interested in the subject, so please feel free to come and talk to us at any of the events we are participating in (see Events page) ask any question, get a close up view of all our equipment, try some of the kit on, hold a rifle and of course get some photo's taken with us or sitting in one of our jeeps. If you cannot make an event and you wish to ask any questions then you can always email us and someone will reply with an answer (see Contact Us).

If you like what you see then how about joining us, we are always recruiting new members into the Group and welcome anyone who is interested and who is prepared to put the time and effort in helping us to carry on with the Living History of the events of over 65 years ago.
(see Recruitment page)
