This years events have now been added to the Events Page, this page will be kept updated as and when new events are confirmed that we will be attending so keep checking back on this page. A Traffic Light visual cue has been added to the Events page to show the attendance that is required by Group Members from the Committee. (see top of the Events page for an explanation)

The Roster Page has been updated to reflect this years unit structure, some old members have gone and some new members have joined, so Group Members check this page out to confirm what Squad you are in for this coming season. New Members photos will be taken in the coming month or two and then added to the site, you know who you are so i will be chasing you with me camera.

This coming Sunday is our first Training Day of the new year, location is Gosport Explosion Museum, this will consist of patrolling through the ramparts with ambush and house clearance training with blanks, pyro and smoke.  There will be weapons handling so Group Members bring your WHT Card for signing off on completion of the training.

9th Jan 2012

Two new pages will be added to the site in the coming months, the first one will be an After Action Report. This will consist of a write up on the previous event that we attended and what our role was, what our display consisted of and what the event was about and any other snipets of information and maybe a photo or two. The second will be a Monthly Member Profile page, this will basically be a member who will contribute some information about themselves and why they decided to be a re-enactor, why they chose the 101st to portray, what they like about re-enacting and so on. Any Group Members who want to volunteer for this (you get a whole web page on yourself and a photo or two) then contact the Webmaster.

Welcome to our website, our aim here is to show what we as a Living History Group are doing to preserve the memory, deeds and sacrifices of all the young service men who served with the 101st   US Airborne Division, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion, Easy Company during   the Second World War.

Our Band Of Brothers are representing the original Band Of Brothers in the hope that we can show and educate the public through Living History Displays how these men both trained and lived during the time period of the 1940's in the events leading upto and during the Normandy landings in June 1944 and beyond to the final outcome of the War in May 1945.

We are a friendly bunch of guys who are keen to pass on our knowledge to anyone interested in the subject, so please feel free to come and talk to us at any of the events we are participating in (see Events page) ask any question, get a close up view of all our equipment, try some of the kit on, hold a rifle and of course get some photo's taken with us or sitting in one of our jeeps. If you cannot make an event and you wish to ask any questions then you can always email us and someone will reply with an answer (see Contact Us).

If you like what you see then how about joining us, we are always recruiting new members into the Group and welcome anyone who is interested and who is prepared to put the time and effort in helping us to carry on with the Living History of the events of over 65 years ago.
(see Recruitment page)

Dedicated to the memory of the service men who served with the 101st Airborne Division.
